Hey Y'all!
My name is Lydia Berryhill and I'm a Christian, wife, mother, and photographer. I married my sweetheart during college when we lived in Louisville, KY and since being married, God has blessed us with a sweet little boy, a baby in Heaven, and two beautiful little girls. We moved to Charleston, SC almost seven years ago and I love it! My roots are southern and I'm glad to be back in the South! I enjoy the culture here, the food, the beaches, the city, the plantations, and pretty much everything in between (especially sea turtles and Spanish moss). I love love love summer time, new adventures, volleyball, a good cup of coffee, snuggling my kids, walking with my love, and being with my friends and family. AND of course...photography:)
I started my journey in photography when I was a little girl - I wanted to take pictures like my dad! My parents got me my first camera when I was 13 and to say that I was hooked, is an understatement. I was an entrepreneur and kept growing in my love and knowledge of the art when my grandpa gifted me with professional equipment to launch my business in high school. I started out with portrait photography (even interned in a studio) and then dipped my toes in wildlife photography but ultimately ended up loving and enjoying photographing romantic images full of love and warmth. I truly can't imagine a better place to live and to take engagement portraits than right here in Charleston. Couple's and Engagement sessions bring me so much joy and I would love to hear from you and capture you and your special someone.
